My Children

The My Children section allows you to view all children linked to your parent account, see their enrolled courses, and quickly access their academic information.

Overview

This section provides a centralized view of all your children's academic information, including:

• List of all linked children
• Number of courses each child is enrolled in
• Quick access links to courses, attendance, and grades
• Direct navigation to each child's detailed information

Viewing Linked Children

Accessing the Section

1. Log in to the parent dashboard
2. Navigate to "My Children" in the navigation menu
3. You'll see a list of all children linked to your account

Children Information Displayed

For each child, you'll see:

• Child's Name: Full name of the student
• Email: Student's email address (if available)
• Enrollment Count: Number of courses the child is currently enrolled in
• Quick Actions: Buttons to access Courses, Attendance, and Grades

Quick Actions

Accessing Courses

1. Click the "Courses" button next to a child's name
2. You'll be redirected to view all courses the child is enrolled in
3. From there, you can access course details, assignments, and materials

Viewing Attendance

1. Click the "Attendance" button next to a child's name
2. View the child's attendance records and statistics
3. See attendance history and trends

Checking Grades

1. Click the "Grades" button next to a child's name
2. View the child's academic performance
3. See grades, feedback, and progress over time

Understanding Enrollment Counts

The enrollment count shows:

• Current Enrollments: Number of active courses
• All Enrollments: Total courses including completed ones (if applicable)

This helps you quickly understand how many courses each child is taking.

Troubleshooting

Issue: No children are showing up

• Solution: Contact your administrator to ensure your parent account is properly linked to your children's student accounts

Issue: Missing enrollment information

• Solution: Verify that your children are properly enrolled in classes through the administrator

Issue: Cannot access child's information

• Solution: Ensure you have proper parent access permissions and that the child's account is active
